Julia, wonderful maker of our limited edition No.5 jewellery, in pensive mood, seconds before she realised I'd been slyly taking her photo. Most of today was, however, spent waiting outside our rehearsal room in Ancoats for the man to show up and unlock everything, frantically rehearsing with Rob, Nick and special guest (on bass trombone) Biff...and then racing home to say goodbye to our Belgian friends. Sad to see them go, but it won't be long before our paths cross again.
Tonight, mammoth baking session over, we're waiting to receive James Steel of The Brute Chorus (himself subject of at least two previous blips) who is also guesting and DJing at tomorrow night's Hobopop Collective gig at Band on the Wall. Must go. Cake delivery is pending...
