Life & times of the B-H's

Cornwall

Headed for Cornwall on Saturday moring and got there in scarily good time!

We to a fabulous cottage near Newquay. Cornwall has been a very soothing place for us a for quite a while. we went there together for the first time straight after the miscarriage we had before all the fertility issues kicked ih and it felt, well to sound a bit cheesy, very healing.

Part of the reason that I bring this up is that one of my collegues at work was pregnant with the young man in the picture at the time. She was the first person to know at work that I was pregnant, 6th sense I think. She then found it very hard when I came back to work (I was working in a school at the time and the whole thing happened just before the Easter hols so I had good length of time off to get better), she felt guilty for still being pregnant. Once I found out that was why she was avoiding me I had the chance to tell her not to be so silly and we went from being collegues to being friends. 7 years later and 2 more children, her little girl and my Alfie we are still friends and meet up as often as possible. Her children are ridiculously gorgeous both in looks and character.

They adore Alfie and were fabulous with him. We met up for the afternoon at Fistral, went looking for crabs and played in the sand. It was so fantastic to see them together. A great start to a wonderful weekend.
