Down by the pond

Dark, grey, wet, windy - indoor playtime and infants all day :( Had a quick dash around the garden when I got home (boy, it gets dark early) and was quite impressed with the colours and general foliage going on down on the big pond. The royal ferns are the most amazing oranges and deep chestnut colours and the water lily pads are still rampant. It was raining of course, so I've got moisture on my lens which sort of adds to the effect??

An evening to light the fire and get stuck in with a good book.
