My front porch looks like the remains of a beaver's all-you-can-eat buffet, due to my hobby/extra-income. I make staves & canes. Its a messy task but just mindless enough for me to relax and clear my mind an NOT think about anything but what i am doing to the wood. I enjoy making them but I get more joy out of seeing them used. These are not decorative pieces, they are meant to be functional (and look good too). This week it seems to be a full time job for me, lets hope i get full time pay for it!
