hello November

And hello vacation. More on that later.

I am very surprised to find our rose bushes still going crazy. It's November! I guess I am still getting use to this areas climate, it helps now that I have a yard now. Whoever chose the plants for this year was a bit nuts. I'm okay with the roses, can't go wrong with those, but the corner with five different types of bushes that don't go together at all? There is a yucca, a butterfly bush, a japanese maple, and two different green shrub things all in a corner. Not sure what they were going for...
It is Sadie's favorite corner though, she has found two ham bones and several tennis balls from previous canine occupants there.
