Sad day.

Today I had my last appointment with the cardio guy and was cleared for life once again.
But, a couple of days ago I had a phone call from a very good friend of mine who told me that she might have cancer..
I remember saying that everything would be ok and that she should not worry too much.
Today I wanted to to see her and was stopped by a neighbour who said that I should go to the hospital immediately.
There she was, my friend, in the intensive care unit of the hospital put on a heart-lung machine and looking terribly fragile and ill..
It was shocking to see someone you love in such a state..
