Paste-Up Project

We've been working on a paste-up project for the past week or so (for those that don't know what it is it's basically old school clip art.) Before we could quickly go to an "insert" button in the computer each of those little drawings were done manually. Every single one was done by hand. The process has taken so long. First we had to draw or vector our image, choose & print our type, place it on, cut it out on rubylith, layer it, take a picture of it on the graphic arts camera, layer the images again, & finally use the linotype press to complete it. We'll finish next week & either make stickers or cards with them.
