This Time a Lily?
"Remember that the most beautiful things in the world are the most useless: peacocks and lilies for instance."
- John Ruskin
I'm a bit wary of this, as last time I called a flower a lily, and used a quote about lilies, it was an Iris.
However....
I think this might be a Lily, as I do recall bulbs in the soil where these have sprung up. I don't recall ever seeing these flowers before, so it's rather a treat. From the leaves I expected more clivias like we have all around the garden, but all of a sudden long stalks have popped up and then these flowers appeared at the top. Rather gorgeous, I think you'll agree.
