Sweet Charity
One of my guilty vices is charity shops. I love them. I love vintage clothes, and rummaging through the rails in search of a lovely piece from yesteryear is very therapeutic. I don't find something every time but there's always a little thrill when I do.
Today I called into the charity shop near the practice where I was working and had a quick rummage. I was delighted to find this gorgeous felt, floppy hat circa 1970. It's beautifully made and just needed a quick flick over with some sellotape to bring back the surface nap.
So for the princely sum of £3.50 I have a beautiful new autumn hat and I've got a lovely warm glow from helping the Sue Ryder shop :-)
What could be nicer.
This was inspired by Challenge's brilliant SP yesterday. She's far more glamorous of course but I felt it was time to have another go. Thanks for the inspiration you beautiful, talented lady :-))
Don't look too closely at my wrinkles...laughter lines (that sounds better ;-)
