Crisis of identity
I love spotting serendipitous patterns in the built environment. This busy but harmonious collage of structure was taken looking into one of London's treasured mews. Architects working in London are under immense pressure to design to context. Projects invariably involve a requirement to stitch together fractured spaces. Design must conform. I think we're too hung up on 'context'. Beauty is found in surprising and unexpected spaces.
