1st day back @ school...

... nearly got caught out with the alarm. Set for the wrong day! Not use to having to get ready for school on a Wednesday. Maddy dressed herself and had even put her shoes by the bed - so she was the first fully ready! The power of stickers.
School run good. No canteen places. Not good. Car to the garage. Good. Walked home, feeling the autumn cool air on my face and smelling woodsmoke. Snow tires on by 11am. Only 12 euros - dare I tell Mr DJ after he broke one tool and spent half a day trying to do them before he left!
Girls home for lunch along with Gabreilla and Claudia from next door. Back to school. More running around - so easy without the girls.
Collected girls from school and took books back to the library. Chose more books. Then next door for a Halloween party. Home now. Homework completed. Fire lit. Girls in bed. Wine glass in hand!
