Today was just not a day to take photographs.
So as I sat at my table this evening these things caught my eye.

Gifts from a friend who now lives back on the 'other' side of the world.

The little painting was from a time in her life when she was travelling to escape.
The Russian dolls from a time when she was travelling for work.
The bronze medal from a time when she was staying still and creating.
The peat doll from a time we travelled together.

Good memories, good friend...
