Willington Gut.

Yesterday I remarked to my Husband, that I often see names of places on buses, and wonder what is there, what is the town or village like?
Today we decided to try it out with a place called Willington Quay.
It was just a residential area, with a few shops, but then we saw a sign for a boat yard.
We went down a narrow country lane, which ended at this stretch of water, Willington Gut. It was full of small boats. There was no-one around, not even at the boathouse.
I don't think we'll go again, but the trip provided me with my blip for the day.
