Branching out . . .

After years of knitting socks and crocheting the occasional lobster I've decided to have a go at gloves! They are fun to do but as I am making the pattern up as I go, it's a bit trial and error . . . . !

Wild weather today, very stormy. The car got well and truly splashed with waves on the way to work. The clinic was pretty quiet as our patients from the north isles cancelled their appointments because the ferries couldn't guarantee they would be able to sail them home again this afternoon. The weather has also blown in lots of migrant birds and the waxwings are still about. There are some next door; eating orange berries and leaving orange droppings on the post van - very colourful!
