Droplets on a Lily

After no rain throughout the month of October, the heavens opened late yesterday afternoon and it was still raining by the time I went to bed at 2:00 am today.

My photographic walk once again failed to deliver the goods. I took a couple of all right shots but the bar has been raised to such a high standard by many of the contributors to Blipfoto that I felt I needed to do better.

Once again, inspiration came while smoking a cigarette on the back deck. I noticed the lingering drops of rain on the leaves of the canna lilies and I knew I was in business.
