EARTHQUAKE REPAIRS AT RICCARTON HOUSE

Fortunatly the earthquake damage to the historic Riccarton House has been confined mainly to the 6 brick chimneys.
The chimneys are being dismantled down into the ceiling. The bricks are being stored on a platform on the roof and the chimneys will be rebuilt brick by brick to exactly how they were before the earthquake.
