In the UK you hear all these songs on the radio about faraway roads.

Route 66, 59th Street Bridge Song, Highway 61 Revisited, Alphabet Street, Positively 4th Street, Maybe the People Would Be the Times or Between Clark and Hilldale etc. etc. etc.

They sound really exotic and fag-hanging-from-your-mouth cool. (No apologies to my American friends...you know damn well what a fag is over here)
