The Kiln Clamp Shed.....

Now, this is a rear sight that I don't see very often, let alone all you folks out there, what I mean is a clamp that has started to burn and the Setting crew still setting bricks. These guys still have around 200,000 bricks to set before the clamp is finished and the fire can burn right to the end and then we have 1,000,000 bricks ready to pack.
So if you wanted to know what 800,000 bricks look like, here you are, all in one mass.

The reason I was taking this today is our Marketing dept. wanted a series of pictures to tell the story of Rudgwick.

The white bricks are insulation bricks to keep the heat (1050ºC)
