Good Afternoon!

On our walk along to see an old friend this afternoon, Ollie and I stopped off to have a few words with this cow and her companions.

She has a very gentle, soft but knowing look about her eyes and I love the little bits of hay in her hair. The chap who owns them is a quietly spoken gentle guy and it has rubbed off on his cattle. They will stand and lick your hand and flick their ears back and forward as they listen to you. I love their furry solidness and their warm beery breath that hangs like mist in the cold air.

Basically I just like cows! (But I love steak too!)
