Macro tubes

I ordered a cheapo remote shutter release from ebay, at the same time I thought I'd try a set of very basic (read cheap) set of macro tubes.. Like these.

They are really basic, but very well made and although they have no electronics they do work pretty well once you figure out that you have to be about 5mm away from what you are trying to take a picture of!

The downside is that because I was so close there was very little light so I'll try them properly on a bright day, in the meantime this is a quick shot of Alfies eye.
