Today's the day ....................... to sing carols

Just back from choir practice when we started to rehearse some carols that we will sing at a Cristmas Concert in December. Singing carols is one of my most favourite things - so I enjoyed it very much.

Specially when I found that we were going to sing some of Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols. These are utterly exquisite! The last time I sang them was as a school girl many (many) years ago - but they still sent shivers down the spine .................
