Let's dance

I haven't been to the duck ponds for a long time and decided that I should go and check out the ducklings and pukeko chick's progress.

This wee fella has grown so much but is still constantly under the very wary and watchful eye of parents who continud to squawk and carry on when I got too close.

One thing I love about these birds is their enormous, ungainly feet so if today's shot was to be of a pukeko chick, it just had to include a foot!

With fee that size it's no wonder pukekos don't dance!!!
