These Boots Were Made For Walkin'

Though this makes me crack up, I wonder if the dog really likes wearing these? I can't imagine so. I wonder - are these a canine fashion statement (based on the owner's casual dress, if so, they spend more time on the dog's fashion than their own), so it's feet don't get cold, or to prevent it from tracking dirt into the house...?

My friend Mary is back in town after several months traveling around Vietnam and Cambodia. We had a great dinner tonight listening to her recount stories of her travel. She really should be a journalist, she is such a great storysteller and when she travels, she immerses herself so completely in the culture and people of her journey. Truly inspiring. She seems made for it...Mary's boots were made for walkin' too...
