Small Boat Harbour

The small boat harbour is always a good standby for a blip when there is not much else happening.

It is being tarted up a bit and the final touches are being put in place over the winter before the tall ships arrive next summer. Not entirely sure what was happening today but it looked impressive.

Don't be put off by the calm conditions in the blips this week it has been bitterly cold with heavy showers. A little snow forecast for tomorrow but may not even lie.

The building on the right of this picture is Lerwick's main post office and the building with the clocktower is the toll booth.
