Hundred years

This map is printed 1907. Hundred years ago!
It´s about The Wonderful Adventures of Nils which is a fiction written by Selma Lagerlöf (1858-1940), a world famous swedish author and the first woman writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.

National Teachers Association asked her 1902 to write a geography reader for the public schools. She wrote it in two parts published in 1906 and 1907. The red lines on the map follows Nils through Sweden.
