68th Birthday Bash

A joint birthday celebration for A, who was 50 a few days ago, and her daughter M, soon to be 18. M is the Blipper Green Room. What do you think of her fab shoes?

My photographic adviser DM was there to take the Pro shots, and was giving me helpful tips. I have hardly ever taken any flash shots, and have much to learn about that. I shot this on the P setting, and wish now I had gone fully manual and used at least an f8 stop - not sure how I would set the flash though.

A really good night of dancing and music from our friends in The Hallanshankers Ceilidh Band, BA and the U2 Tribute Band, a couple of excellent Bob Dylan numbers on guitar and harmonica, and the one and only Mr GP doing Johnny Cash in his unique style.
