Burning crosses and exploding popes...

...sums up the theme of the Lewes Bonfire Night, with processions up and down the High Street and adjoining roads from about 5pm until 2am the next morning.

After several hours travel from Chichester, Julia Lampam (@JuliaLampam) and Damian Grounds (@DamianGrounds) joined me and running friend Sara to watch the spectacle from my first floor balcony.
