Extreme ironing

Our friend has been helping us with DIY and he's a marvel. We'd been given a little bit of laminate which had been left out in the rain -so it was warped. We just needed two bits to cover a step. So to cure the problem - heat up the wood to bend it..... Well, apparently if it's good enough for Ray Mears....
