Gloria

I was trying to be sneaky and take photos at a wonderful exhibition at The Lowry called Invitation to the dance....lots of memorabilia, and i wanted to take dozens of photos but shouldn't and couldn't, however my camera just happened to go click as I walked past these two from Macmillian's Gloria - a most powerful piece, suggestive of soldiers in the trenches. I have seen it many times and wept profusely. Lots of famous costumes on display, but sadly no brochure or postcards, but oh what costumes, worn by the good and the great.
