Ken the painter

I'm inspired by some of your great portraits out there so I need to practice. this is Ken our painter who does very excellent work but very slowly. He has many jobs and tries to keep everyone happy I'm afraid by doing a little bit for all and plugging along. He loves old woodwork and always wants to repair, not start over. Here he is on a saturday trying to finish a small indoor job (that's been waiting a month). We talked about how much he works and his 5 children....he says "yea, it costs quite a bit from when they're born to when they're through college." !!!!
