Old School Fruit....

These used to be a favorite of mine when I was a kid, picking out the juicyred fruit with a pin. Of course my dad would only allow me to have half of one as the were very expensive.

They were old school fruit of the sixties and seventies but died off during the eighties and ninties. They are now making a comeback as retro fruit, and many new recipes and salads now calls for the Pomegranate.
