Prehistoric Sunbather
Yesterday I missed several opportunities to snap various species of lizards, as I was much too slow and encumbered with shopping, so I was over the moon to find this little chap (chapess?) this morning. I really expected him to scoot away before I even managed to get my camera switched on but instead he sat there patiently as if he poses for a living. I wish I could've got in a bit closer but I didn't want to scare the little fella. Once again, I throw my hands in the air and wail - 'Oh for a decent camera and a macro lens'.
Not wanting to encroach too much on his time, I took only 3 shots before I left him to enjoy his Sunday morning stroll and I continued on mine.
Other snaps from this morning's wander are in this album.
