A Camera Gaffe..

Well more a gaffer taped camera, but that doesn't really roll off the tongue as a title now does it?

Anyway this is the Ricoh 500 ST Compact camera which I only discovered lacked any type of sealant after I had ran a roll of film through it. The signs were there - lack of foam around the rear housing, a not so snug fit... but did I notice them? Well no, not really...

So this is the second roll of film I'm running through it - this time though I've used gaffer tape to hopefully seal the light leaks so I can get a better idea if the camera still works fine.

Saying that, this was one of two photos that weren't fully ruined by the light leaks, so fingers crossed this time.
