Our last day

We're leaving tomorrow - actually tonight very late from here, after a month spent at the Little House, owned by our wonderful hosts, Ian and Cecilia Ferguson and their son, Ewan. "Let me put the camera on the ladder, Ewan press the button and get over here" - Ewan was still moving when the shutter released.

Emily seems happy here - I wonder if it's because we're leaving. Maybe she only needed a big hug.

So this is the end of our trip to Provence. So long from Draguignan and the Little House.

We didn't know it yet but this wonderful town was to be hit by a horrible downpour about a month later that brought 3 meters of water in certain sections and killed over 20 people. The pretty landscape around the Little House - so lovingly handled by Cecilia with Ian's help - was totally washed away and replaced by huge stones.
