Autumnal sheep

Today's the day ........................ to drive through the Borders

Drove back to Kendal today from Edinburgh through the Scottish Borders. They were looking absolutely magnificent in all their autumn colours. Is it just me - now looking with my blipping eyes - or has it been a fantastic autumn this year with the trees slowly changing over the past four or five weeks to amazing yellows, oranges, coppers, cinnamons, ochres and saffrons?

It just seemed a bit over the top to be colouring the sheep as well ............?!
