Land of the Midday Sun

This was taken at 12.42 pm, so the sun was already past its zenith here, today, in Oslo Fjord. This is Thomas' favourite view taken in his favourite weather conditions at his favourite time of year, so it seems churlish not to post it! Hope you get a sense of the extraordinary calm and clarity Thomas, Harald and I enjoyed as we sat here for more than five hours in our first get together for five years; it was as always fun, and a pleasure to reaffirm the strong bonds that bind us.
