Sky Setting In
There's something very nautical about these clouds, they look like a series of waves either coming in or out or both. A pattern like this usually means 'all change' as in the rain is coming in!
The title is influenced by one of my favourite paintings Fishing upon the Blythe-Sands - Tide Setting In by artist Joseph Mallord William Turner. My Father has a print of it on his wall in his study, I've often stood in front of the print, but also the original in the Tate Gallery in London & have been literally blown away by it's staggering beauty. And I have done the same standing opposite a Devonian sky, it has just those elements of a Turner painting.
