Face In The Grain

Wasn't sure what I was going to take today. I never like it when the clocks go back, so enthusiasm wasn't exactly bubbling.

I did happen to notice how the knots in the wood and the wood grain of one of the planks on the back deck looked like the face of a demon.

Once again, I used the High Contrast B&W mode of the Ricoh and it did better than my attempts at a B&W conversion in Silver Efex Pro.

Hope I can manage to kick-start my efforts tomorrow. At the moment, I am at something of a low ebb. But tomorrow is another day.
