Flaming Loch

Today we set out to Calendar in order to stretch our legs, browse a few shops and (possibly) purchase a few Xmas presents. Stopped on the way at the Antique Centre at Doune...it was supposed to be a brief stop but there was such a great selection of antiques (and a very nice cafe) that we were there for quite a few hours. Managed to get a few really good Xmas presents also.

So by the time we left there was no time to stop in Calendar (had to make it back home in time to bake this years Xmas cake) so we drove on through to Loch Lubnaig to take a few shots in the, now-dying, afternoon light. The autumn foliage reflected in the Loch really made it look like the Loch was on fire.
