Well, this is the progress on the kitchen today. I now have a washing machine, a fridge and not much else. At least the tiles seem to have come off the wall without making too much mess, and the electrician has been and put in the new sockets that will be needed. I've just got to paint the ceiling before the wall units go in tomorrow as it will be much easier while it's all empty.

I also realised when I got home that I've now got no drinking water as the sink is disconnected. Luckily, I found I had some bottled water (thanks to Paul, I think) so I won't have to go and bother the neighbours for a jug of water.
