we had a little bonfire and a few fireworks and sparklers in my mum's back garden tonight. We're staying with her for the weekend, as I'm still a little bit broken and Mr Pink is away for work until Monday.

The children and Grandma made a guy, which was almost too cute to burn. We had jacket potatoes with beans or sausages, in the garden next to the bonfire. And fifteen child friendly-ish fireworks to enjoy.

The funniest part of the evening was watching Baby Pink's reaction to the fireworks. After each one she shouted out "nooooo!" and then gasped with delight at the next lit one.

A very memorable evening.
