Upper Sandaig
The beginning of the walk to a very special place.
Also the best breeding ground for the Scottish midge.
Lucky then, that the weather was clear and cold and all the midges were gone for the season.
Ahhhh!
A glorius bonfire and picnic on the island and the usual competition to find more Cowries than the nieces. The competiton was stiff. I may not have won, but I held my own. (3)
I even forgave Euan's Mum for beating me, even though she calls me Gr'unty.
(Great Auntie). Thanks Fi, you are a wonder.
A visit from M+D to the brother's house up the glen with cake and coffee and the day was done. ( So was I).
