The boys did good

Powderfinger take a bow at the end of their last Melbourne show on their farewell Australian tour. I was lucky enough to see them when they were starting out in the early 90s in Brisbane. As a journalist I got to interview them on many occasions and even played in their cricket team in the Brisbane Band Cricket Competition. They've since gone on to be Australia's biggest selling band, selling more than 3 million albums in a country of 21 million people. They played to almost half a million people on their farewell tour.
