Shoe tree

I did manage to get outdoors during daylight for a wee while, but the weather was not good - a biting wind with sharp little needles of rain in it. There might have been some ice in there, come to think of it.

I only managed two shots and this was the least bad. It's a specimen of a shoe tree. Although it's a relatively new species I've seen blips of them taken in several countries. This local one seems to be bearing more fruit every time I see it.
