as a schools based youth worker i spend a fair amount of time in school. it annoys me that in my day you had either a) bad hair b) bad skin c) bad make-up or d) bad fashion. or in my case all four. these days kids have perfect hair, perfect skin, perfect make up (even the boys) and perfect fashion. i don't know whether i'm cross or just jealous. shouldn't all kids have to go through the trials of looking like a hideous teenager?
