What a difference some sun makes

It was cold this morning but it's a crystal clear blue sky and everything looks a bit different to yesterday..

The sun was just coming up over the hills south of Bristol. I stood on the common just as the first fraction of the sun appeared over the horizon. Always seems a special moment.

Anyway, I like the way it illuminates the dark streets slowly but surely as if it's creeping up on them.

Five minutes later and the moment seems to have passed!
