Garden Eels

This afternoon we dived at Eel Garden, a big sandy bank that is home to the burrows of many eels. They come up out of their burrows to feed, but retreat back into the sand at any sign of danger.

It's nice to be back to floating around looking at fish after the training I was doing the last few days - very relaxing! Mind you, the group we were with had some rather erratic divers in it, which did require you to have your wits about you...
