Sensible Shoes

Today I met another au pair who is from England. It was so nice to talk at a normal fast pace and be understood.

I bought some new winter boots after my other ones proved unable to cope with about 5cm of snow and are now soaked through. They're all padded on the inside and warm :)

I've noticed that people who don't wear massive clompy boots are the ones that stand out and look a bit odd, so it's sensible shoes for the next 3 months.
