Blade

This is my Sgian Dubh, there are many like it, but this one is mine...

I bought this a few years ago, from a guy in Drumnadrochit who hand makes these. I think it is gorgeous, and understated. The blade is made from Damascus Steel, the handle, Culloden Bog Oak, there are sterling silver ferrules and inserts. It was hand carved by Rab Gordon at Rainnea.

I'll be wearing it with my kilt this weekend...watch this space!
