Magdeburger Reiter (Magdeburg Horseman)

Playing for the 70th birthday of the university's rector, I had the honor to place my drum kit just below this 13th century statue. It is one of the first free-standing statues of a horseman of Northern Europe of which is assumed that Otto I. is portrayed considering the regalia.
